When I was little I thought when you died you turned into a star. I soon realized you went into the sky but not the sky itself.I didn’t know that soon after I found out I would go to that place. My name is Jamie Ann Jackson I was eight years old when I was abducted and murdered on November 15, 2008.

I remember my eighth birthday on November 10th, I got a new bike. I begged my mom to let me go riding she finally said “yes, but be home by dark.” I said “ok.” I rushed outside and jumped on my bike. I went to the old abandoned park. I rode for hours. I started back and a man in a big black old ford pickup stopped and asked if I knew where a gas station was. It was normal to me this was a small Mississippi town. I said “just down the road to the right.” “Thanks.” He said, but he didn’t drive away he grabbed me by the throat and told me if I screamed he would slash my throat. I couldn’t tell what he looked like because he had a dark shadow over him because it was night. All I could see were his big green eyes. He put me in his pickup and I didn’t know how long we drove, but when I woke up we were somewhere really cold. I was still laying in the truck but I had tape over my mouth and my head felt warm and sticky. i had tape and my hands and feet were tied so i couldnt feel my head to see if it was blood. i looked at the man he looked odly familair but i could only see the back of his head.
