I'm the type who prefers quality over quantity so I can be slow when it comes to posting new chapters. Despite my ever-changing schedules, I do make an effort to update a story once per month. Therefore, I ask that you please be patient and supportive.

Date a Live—The series begins with a strange phenomenon called a "spatial quake" devastating the center of Eurasia, resulting at least 150 million casualties. For the next 30 years, smaller spatial quakes plague the world on an irregular basis. In the present, Shido Itsuka, a seemingly ordinary high schooler comes across a mysterious girl, who is classified as beings called "Spirits", at the ground zero of a spatial quake. Shido learns that the "Spirits" are responsible for the spatial quakes and is then recruited by the organization to make use of his mysterious ability to seal the Spirits' powers. However, there is a catch: to seal a Spirit's power, he must make her fall in love with him and make her kiss him.

Death Note — Light Yagami is a genius high school student who discovers the "Death Note", a notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it. Light tells Ryuk of his plan to rule over a new world free from criminals as a god, where only people he deems morally fit to live remain. In his attempt to eradicate evil, Light eventually becomes known to the public as Kira and catches the attention of Interpol and the world-famous detective, "L".

Ga-rei Zero — A prequel story set before the events of the manga, which follows Kagura Tsuchimiya and Yomi Isayama—swordswomen and heiresses from a long line of Japanese exorcist families. Both girls suffered a personal tragedy in their lives, yet they develop a strong sister-like bond. As both of them grow up, they both must overcome their weaknesses, accepting being the daughters of exorcists and following their families tradition. Yet tragedy will befall both of them which will turn these two "sisters" into bitter enemies.

Girls und Panzer — The story takes place in a universe where historical WWII-era tanks are maintained for sports warfare competitions and large carrier ships known as Academy Ships support mobile sea communities. Of the many activities high school girls can participate in is "sensha-dō", which is the art of operating tanks. Miho Nishizumi, a girl from a prestigious family of sensha-dō practitioners, transfers to Ōarai Girls High School after a traumatic event drove her to abandon the sport. Unfortunately, the revival of sensha-dō at Ōarai leads to Miho joining the team. While reluctant at first, Miho soon warms up to sensha-dō again and comes to enjoy it, after which the school prepares to enter a national sensha-dō championship, facing off against various other schools.

Hataraku Saibou — Within the human body there is said to be approximately 60 million cells. All these different cells work tirelessly within the body, never resting for a moment as they keep the body healthy and functioning.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni — Keiichi Maebara has just moved to the quiet little village of Hinamizawa in the summer of 1983, and quickly becomes inseparable friends with schoolmates Rena Ryuuguu, Mion Sonozaki, Satoko Houjou, and Rika Furude. As the village prepares for its annual festival, Keiichi learns about the local legends surrounding it and discovers that there have been several murders and disappearances in the village in the recent years, and that they all seem to be connected to the festival and the village's patron god, Oyashiro.

Huyao Xiao Hongniang — In a world where humans and demons co-exist, the love between the two kinds can continue on in the human's next life after making a Pledge of Love, though at the cost of some of the demon's powers and the human's memories of their past life. It is therefore a fox spirit matchmaker's job to revive the memories of a reincarnated human and help them reunite with their demon lover. Tushan Susu, a clumsy young fox spirit, is inspired to become a matchmaker when he meets Bai Yuechu, a poor and greedy Taoist whose mind is set on foiling the Yi Qi Dao League's plans, earning money, and eating. The two set off on adventures to help lovers reunite with each other as a deeper connection between them that they are unaware begins to unveil itself.

Inuyasha — The series follows Kagome Higurashi, a 15-year-old girl from Tokyo who is transported to the Sengoku period after falling into a well in her family shrine, where she meets the half demon Inuyasha. When a monster from that era tries to take the magical Shikon Jewel embodied in Kagome, she accidentally shatters the Jewel into many pieces that are dispersed across Japan. Inuyasha and Kagome start traveling to recover it before the powerful demon Naraku finds all the shards. Inuyasha and Kagome gain several allies during their journey namely Shippo, Miroku, Sango, and Kirara.

Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku — A social game called The Magical Girl Raising Project allows one in tens of thousands of people to be a "magical girl". The chosen girls possess extraordinary physical capabilities and special magical powers that set them apart from the rest of the human race. But one day, in a district containing 16 magical girls, the administration announces that it must halve the number of magical girls to solve the problem of magical energy. At first, the 16 magical girls race to collect more "magical candy" than their competitors, but the rules quickly become twisted, and it quickly becomes a murderous battle for survival among them.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha — Third grader Takamachi Nanoha stumbled upon an injured talking ferret who turned out to be Yuuno, an archeologist and mage from another world who had accidentally scattered the dangerous Jewel Seeds throughout Earth. Entrusted with the task to collect the lost Jewel Seeds, Nanoha gained the ability to transform and use magic to combat the monsters and rivals who shared a similar aim.

Mirai Nikki — Yukiteru Amano is a loner who spends most of his time writing a diary on his cell phone. One day, Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space, gives Yukiteru a special diary and then forces him to participate in a battle royale with eleven other people, each of whom also has a diary that can predict the future in some unique way. The rules of this "Diary Game" are simple: the contestants must try to find and kill all the other contestants before the world ends on Day 90, and only the last one standing can prevent the Apocalypse and become the new God of Time and Space.

Noragami — In times of need, if you look in the right place, you just may see a strange telephone number scrawled in red. If you call this number, you will hear a young man introduce himself as the Yato God. Yato is a minor deity and a self-proclaimed "Delivery God," who dreams of having millions of worshippers. Without a single shrine dedicated to his name, however, his goals are far from being realized. He spends his days doing odd jobs for five yen apiece with his Shinki, Yukine.

Plastic Memories – The story takes place in a city in the near future, where humans live alongside androids with human emotion and memory. SAI Corp, the leading android production company, has introduced the Giftia, a new android model with the most human-like qualities of any model. Due to the limited lifetime of a Giftia being 81,920 hours, the employees of the Terminal Service must go to the owner of the Giftia and collect it. Those assigned to the Terminal Service work in teams consisting of a human and a Giftia. The story follows protagonist Tsukasa Mizugaki and a Giftia named Isla, both of whom work in SAI Corp's Terminal Service No. 1 office.

A schoolgirl named Madoka Kaname and her friend Sayaka Miki are approached by one of these messengers of magic named Kyubey and a magical girl named Mami Tomoe with an offering to become a magical girl. But as this is all happening, Homura Akemi, another magical girl, tries to prevent Madoka and friends from making such a deal...

Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight — At the Seisho Music Academy, the 99th Graduating Class is rehearsing for the annual production of the theatrical play, Starlight. Behind the scenes, an underground "Revue Starlight" audition pits the students against each other in stage battles in order to shine as the top star. Karen Aijō, upon being reunited with her childhood friend Hikari Kagura, comes across these auditions and battles to become the top star alongside Hikari.

Steins;Gate — Rintaro Okabe, a self-proclaimed "mad scientist", stumbles upon the dead body of Kurisu Makise in a conference about time travel. He sends a text message to his lab member, Daru, and later discovers that Kurisu is alive, and that the message travelled back in time. The cause of the phenomenon is a cell phone-operated microwave oven. Joined by Kurisu, Rintaro and the lab members begin to explore the idea of changing the present with the "D-mails" but unknowingly attracts the attention of SERN, an organization secretly researching time travel.

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online — The story follows Karen Kohiruimaki, a university student with a complex about her abnormal height. Everything changes for her when she's introduced to VR game called Gun Gale Online, where she plays as Llenn, a cute and petit avatar clad in pink.

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun — In the futuristic Academy City, which is made up of 80% students, many of whom are espers possessing unique psychic powers, Mikoto Misaka is an electromaster who is the third strongest of a mere seven espers who have been given the rank of Level 5. The series focuses on the exploits of Mikoto and her friends; Kuroko Shirai, Kazari Uiharu, and Ruiko Saten as they delve into the mysteries surrounding Academy City.

Tokyo Ravens — In a world where Onmyoudou magic, despite the "Great Spiritual Disaster", has managed to develop since WWII and is implemented into modern practices such as medicine and technology, there still exist some who are unable to utilize the power. Such is the case with Harutora, a member of the Tsuchimikado's branch family. Despite an old promise to become the familiar of Natsume, the heir of the Tsuchimikado's main family, Harutora has no talent and chooses to live a normal life instead. But he learns there were those who attempt to recreate the same experiment which gave rise to the "Great Spiritual Disaster", he decides to make good on his word and fight by Natsume's side.

Utawarerumono — The masked protagonist, Hakuoro is one day found by a family of two girls and their grandmother in a nearby forest close to their village. He is badly injured and is soon found to have amnesia, so they take him to their home and treat him until he is well again. Hakuoro is soon accepted into their village, but before long he finds the village is being oppressed by the greedy emperor. The suppression result in him leading a rebellion against the emperor of the country.

Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru — Yūna, Mimori, Fū, and Itsuki are all members of the Sanshu Middle School Hero Club, dedicating themselves to helping those that request help. One day in their regular daily lives, the Hero Club members are suddenly caught in an explosion of light and transported to a strange forest, where they encounter mysterious monsters known as Vertex which seek to destroy the Shinju, the guardian deity which protects and blesses humanity. Using a special phone application granted by Taisha, an organization dedicated to the Shinju, Yuna and her friends must transform into "heroes" with magical powers to protect their world from imminent destruction.

Pokemon Special — “It is a Pokémon-related manga based on the video games. Satoshi Tajiri once stated that the Pocket Monsters Special series is closest to what he imagined the Pokémon world to be: "This is the comic that most resembles the world I was trying to convey."” It is considered as one of the best-selling manga of Viz Media, having sold over 150 million copies of its manga. “Pokemon Special is divided into several distinct parts which are known as chapters, and those, in turn, are divided further into volumes and many smaller chapters.”

Seraph of the End — In 2012, the world allegedly comes to an end at the hands of a "human-made" virus, ravaging the global populace and leaving only children under the age of thirteen untouched. It is at this time that vampires emerge from the recesses of the earth and subjugate the remnants of humanity. At the age of twelve, Yūichirō and his friend and fellow orphan Mikaela plotted to escape along with the children in Hyakuya Orphanage. However, this resulted in their deaths and Mikaela sacrifices himself in order for Yūichirō to escape. Four years later, Yūichirō dedicates his life to destroy vampires and seek revenge against them for murdering his "family".

Danganronpa — The series revolves around the elite high school, Hope's Peak Academy, which selects"Ultimate" students (talented high school students who are in the top of their field) every year. Makoto Naegi, theaverage "Ultimate Lucky Student", who is chosen by lottery, joins Hope's Peak Academy only to find himself trapped inside the school with fourteen other students. There, a sadistic remote-controlled teddy bear by the name of Monokuma announces that the students will be forced to live in the school forever, offering only one way to graduate: murder another student and get away with it.

Doki Doki Literature Club — The MC joins the high school literature club under the invitation of his childhood friend and vice-president of the club, Sayori. G-senjou no Maou — Azai Kyousuke is the son of an infamous Yakuza tyrant who lives a double life of an ordinary student and a ruthless financing tyrant in the underworld business. Things take on a bit of a turn for him when a girl named Usami Haru transfers into his school. Almost immediately, an international mafia overlord who calls himself "Maou" also arrives in the city, and is set on crushing Haru and everyone else who is connected to her. Haru, meanwhile, is determined to defeat this mysterious figure and inevitably wraps Kyousuke and his friends into the situation.

Gyakuten Saiban: Sono "Shinjitsu", Igiari! — Phoenix Wright is a rookie defense lawyer who works under his mentor, Mia Fey. Law Offices and stands up to defend his clients on court, often butting heads with the ruthless prosecutor Miles Edgeworth.

Honkai Impact 3rd — The story follows the escapades of the "Valkyries" of the Schicksal Organization, a group of female fighters who fights against the phenomenon called "Honkai" and its manifestations while competing with a rival organization named Anti-Entropy.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni — As customary per year, the Ushiromiya family gathers on the island, Rokkenjima, for a family gathering to discuss about the inheritance from the family head, Ushiromiya Kinzou. However, the family is unaware that Kinzou plans to instigate a ceremony to revive the Golden Witch, Beatrice. Soon after, a violent typhoon traps the family on the island and a string of mysterious murders commence, forcing the eighteen people on the island to fight for their lives in a deadly struggle between fantasy and reality.

Favorite Anime/Manga Characters:

1. Kikyo (Inuyasha): She's my all-time favorite anime character and no hater is ever going to change how much I adore her. Her selfless existence added with her intelligence, independence, and compassion makes Inuyasha an unforgettable series for me. Honestly, no words I have at my disposal could fully describe the complexity and wonder her character brings to the show. It's no understatement to say that she's my first and only anime crush (yes, emphasis on the only. Ahem, looking at you Inuyasha!). She's the sole reason why I got into anime and her tragic fate is what prompted me to create an account and write fanfictions.

2. Akame (Akame ga Kill): In terms of female characters, I usually find myself more invested in supporting characters since seldom do we get a protagonist who can be independent and reliable throughout the entire series. More often than not, we get the damsel in distress scenarios and cliché like those put me off. However, Akame is very different in that she is actually very capable of taking care of herself. Additionally, while she is compassionate towards her friends, she also shows no mercy when it comes to her enemies. No hesitation at all when things need to be done, it's certainly one slice, one kill.

3. Fate Testarossa (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha): Recently, I went to check out some of the old classics of anime in my little free time and decided to rewatch Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. In terms of plot, it is what one would expect from an anime of that time, though I cannot get enough of the characters in the show. Almost all of them are fun to watch. Fate, in particular, becomes my favorite after seeing all the development she went through - from the lost and abused girl who is willing to go up against the entire world for the sake of her mother, to the reliable and caring Enforcer who would give every ounce of her strength to protect her friends and family.

Favorite Pairings:

I'm not really the type to be invested in pairings when watching an anime, but even I can't deny that there are shipping out there that I love and support with all my heart.

1. Sesshomaru/Kikyo (Inuyasha): I know that there is no way this is canon yet I can't help but let my imagination run wild. I've always thought these two would be very formidable had they actually teamed up in the actual series to defeat Naraku (but I guess Rumiko Takahashi can't have that since they'll end up taking the spotlight and credit from Inuyasha and Kagome). In my opinion, Sesshomaru is the most reliable and capable of aiding Kikyo on her quest and Kikyo is also wise and patient enough to teach Sesshomaru the value of human life (while I won't deny that Rin did an excellent job in the series, I believe that Kikyo can demonstrate that not all humans are weak and unworthy of his attention).

2. Makoto Naegi/Kyoko Kirigiri (Danganronpa): Ever since the death of Sayaka Maizono, Makoto and Kyoko have been building up a steady relationship that delves into the issue of trust. I've always liked how the two are polar opposites when it comes to trusting others. It is what makes their chemistry so unique and interesting, especially at the end of the series where Kyoko repents and learns to make a choice based on emotions rather than logic for once by placing her faith on Makoto.

3. Nanoha Takamachi/Fate Testarossa-Harlaown (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha): Even with all the new Yuri couples that you can now find in many anime, this is definitely my favorite. Nanoha and Fate's relationship is what I would personally consider as being successful and healthy chemistry that evolved from a friendship that started quite rough in the edges (with Nanoha starlightbreaking the hell out of Fate so that the latter would listen to her friendship talk, lol). But ultimately, these two have shown throughout the series that they care deeply for each other and can place their trust in each other wholeheartedly.

4. Shikamaru Nara/Temari (Naruto): With so many characters in Naruto, it's expected that there'll be a lot of pairings. But what catches my eyes amongst the entire cast is the relationship between Shikamaru and Temari, which started off as rivals (well, in Temari's eyes that is). Their personalities play off each other perfectly and their chemistry is not rushed or out of the blue. The subtle hints and build up throughout the series makes their coupling realistic and fitting, which is why it's my favorite pairing in Naruto.

5. Naraku/Kikyo (Inuyasha): For me, this is a love-and-hate coupling. There is no doubt that Naraku is the one responsible for Kikyo's tragedy, and I have always loathed him for being the culprit who took away the glimmer of happiness in Kikyo's life. On the other hand, I can't help but feel sympathetic because everything he did was for the sole purpose of getting Kikyo's affection, even though he was in denial at the start. ("That’s right, now I remember. All I wanted was Kikyo’s heart. It seems I won’t be joining Kikyo in this world or the next world."-Naraku) And I won't say that his earnest confession/realization at the end redeems his wrongs, all I can say at the very least is that he was wholly fixated on Kikyo, which is unlike Inuyasha. (As touching as Inuyasha's words to Kikyo and Kagome are, we all know that he cannot protect both women at the same time. I only wish he was more decisive sometimes, then maybe Kikyo could be spared of more heartaches).

6. Wave/Kurome (Akame ga Kill): I went to read the Akame ga Kill manga thinking that there'll be some Tatsumi and Akame moments and instead finds myself interested in the moments between Wave and Kurome. At first, I saw the two as a 'what if' scenario had Tatsumi been paired up with Akame instead of Mine. However, I soon began to view their relationship independently and came to enjoy their interactions. For me, this pairing became one of my favorites the moment Wave equips two Teigu simultaneously despite knowing the repercussions in order to fight off Tatsumi and get to Kurome's side.

7. Lambdadelta/Bernkastel (Umineko no Naku Koro ni ): With so many intricate pairings in the series, I've never thought I would enjoy the dynamics between Lambda and Bern this much. Their relationship is odd given their personalities. However, I can't also help but think that it is very fitting since they, as Voyage Witches that wander through countless fragments through time, can understand each other like no one else can. Even their ways of expressing affection are dissimilar to what any other couples I've ever seen, which makes them all the more interesting as characters.
