![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Where to start? Well I don't make my living writing :-) I make my living providing home care services to people with disabilities here in the Windy City of Chicago, IL. And before anyone can ask me these questions, I'll answer them now. No, I am not a Bears fan, in fact I despise football. It's not fun when your family is at what is supposed to be your 10th birthday party (and it's one of those rare occasions when your party is actually on your birthday) and literally every male member of your family except your 6 year old brother is ignoring you in favor of watching the Super Bowl. As far as the whole Cubs/White Sox thing goes, I like them both, though if there is ever a Cubs vs. White Sox World Series, once one of them has won 3 games I will be watching the rest of the series from the safety of anywhere but Chicago itself. You're nuts if you think I'm gonna stay here during the riots that are sure to erupt, particularly if it is the Cubs who actually win. Far as other Chicago sports, namely the Bulls and Blackhawks, I'll support 'em and cheer for 'em because they're Chicago teams, but I'm rather lukewarm far as the sports themselves. That being said, I am a big fan of World Wrestling Entertainment, so don't be surprised if a WWE Superstar should make a brief cameo. Update: 12/18/11 Well I finally published my first story, just uploaded the fourth chapter. There will be a couple of cross-over characters from M*A*S*H, namely Col. Sherman T. Potter, as has already been mentioned, along with Walter 'Radar' O'Reilly. I don't anticipate them becoming major enough characters to list this as a crossover story, though. And before anyone says that they couldn't possibly be alive, in my story, Potter is a wizard, so it is not inconcievable for him to still be alive. As for Radar, I'm assuming an age of about 20 or so when he was at the 4077th, which would only put him in his early 60's by the time Harry goes to Hogwarts in 1991. Update: 3/12/14 Sorry I've been away for so long, but my muse decided to go on sabbatical. It recently came home, and with a few ideas to boot. For instance, Yankee Harry's timeline is getting nudged up ten years, so Harry goes to Hogwarts in 2001 instead of '91. This is so I can use 9/11 as a plot twist to humiliate Dumbles. Not gonna say how though :-) New chapter should be up soon. |
