 Author has written 3 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Hello! My name is Margaux. I am a 22 year old currently living in Scotland. Although I'm not the target demographic for Rick Riordan's books, they have had a lasting affect on me. I read the original Percy Jackson series ten years ago (which makes me feel old af) and have been hooked ever since. So they are kind of the focus here because not only do I think they are fantastic, they also lend themselves to creative application. Thats all I really have to say, Thanks for reading :) From Olympus With Love: This story has a very special place in my heart as I have been working on it (i.e. rewriting it too many times to count) for about five years. It tells the story of my OC Myra Fisher, the daughter of a Naval Capitan, who was chosen to be a spy upon the Princess Andromeda. Set During Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, it follows Myra's adventures with Luke, Charlie (another OC), and a whole boat full on monsters. Will she make it out alive? Fun Fact: I was also considering titling this story Three Days of the Andromeda after the amazing 1975 spy film Three Days of the Condor, staring Robert Redford and Faye Dunaway. However i ultimately chose the current title because I though it would be too confusing (the story lasts way longer than just three days) and Im assuming many readers have not seen it.Also, once upon a time I had written (using that term loosely) another version of this exact story. But I have scraped it and started fresh with --hopefully--better developed characters and a more coherent plot. I really, really hope you enjoy my story! |
