Author has written 15 stories for Harry Potter, Bleach, Teen Titans, Batman, X-Men, and Avatar: Last Airbender. ALL ABOUT ME Who am I? A young woman in her mid-twenties. A Christian. A dreamer. A prim and proper old fashioned lady. A Sci-fi and Fantasy geek. Someone with very painful, very life interrupting, but not life threatening, health problems, namely: Fibromyalgia and Arthritis. Why do I write? Why do I write Fan fiction? For studying purposes. To experiment with different writing styles and approaches. For fun. Because sometime I come up with ideas that I can't get out of my head, and can't adapt into something more original. How often do I update my stories? Not as often as I'd like. My health interferes a lot. Then there's the writer's block, a catch-all phrase for a variety of different writer's problems, a good number of which I've had. I can't really promise when I'll update a story. What advice would I give other writers? Read. Read regularly. Read a lot of different things. The written word is a writer's fuel. You never what will be useful, but don't just read anything. Good words are food and medicine for the mind. Wicked words are spiritual and mental poison. Your mind is like a storehouse, a vault, a palace, a temple which you should fill with treasure not trash. MY STORIES Any story I mention below I'm regularly thinking of. Either I'm working on it or I'm thinking of doing so. All the rest are things I've completed or put aside for now. Wizarding Kings: Magnificent and Just: Book One A Harry Potter story with Narnia references. The first chapter of this is the second oldest bit of fan fiction writing I've done. It's also one of my most ambitious writing projects ever. It's supposed to follow some of the first Harry Potter book while adding a lot of other things that will eventually create a very massive butterfly effect should I ever write past book one. I've got a lot of different plans for the characters in this tale. There are a lot of Original Characters and Original Character Stand-Ins in supporting roles. There's also a lot of Out Of Character stuff going on with the main leads. The take on Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter I have here makes them a lot like the ta'veren from the Wheel of Time books, people with very powerful destinies and the power to change the world whether they want to or not. He Wasn't Late A story that takes heavily from the Bleach manga then twists things, adding a lot of new things as it goes. My largest fic to date, it is definitely a butterfly effect type story. While writing this I've learned a lot about action scenes and fighting. Reflections of the Past A somewhat confusing story featuring deaged versions of some the original Teen Titans. It has ideas from both the Young Justice cartoon, the 2004 DC Comics, and the Crisis on Infinite Earths mini-series. This story was created entirely for my own pleasure. I'm constantly amazed that this story has any reviews or readers when other stories which make more sense do not. DC Electrum An overall label for a lot different stories, mainly Batman right now. This my main version of the DC Universe using elements and characters from throughout company's vast history. This was started when I got mad at the DNCU, also known as the New 52, DC's horrific soft reboot which got rid of so much of why I prefer DC to Marvel. It's the families and friendships that I love so much about DC superheroes and that's what I tend to write and read. |
