Not much to it really...I'm 18, Canadian, lesbian, and absolutely love reading fanfiction. I've tried writing it, but this has proved to be unsuccessful, so I am left with appreciating the works of others.

My first and main fandom is Harry Potter. I love slash and femslash. I'll read het and gen too, but I prefer the good old fashioned boy-on-boy/girl-on-girl action. Most importantly, I want it to be well written-I can't abide cliches, mary-sues, bad grammar, and general crappiness. It is wonderful to find a fic writer and think, "hey, why the heck aren't they published yet?!"

Aside from Harry Potter, I absolutely love LotR, His Dark Materials and anything by Stephen King, but I haven't read much from those fandoms, 'cause I have absolutely no idea where to start. Um, help?
