Ancient enough to have cowered behind the sofa at the very first sight of the Daleks in Doctor Who back in the sixties. Not much, age-wise, between the Doctor and me, then, though of course he's had the benefit of all those rejuvenating regenerations, lucky boy.
Positive values, rejection of violence (well, mostly), real and often very difficult choices, relationships on all possible levels and, best of all, sparkling dialogue and wonderful acting. Still love all that about DW. Oh, and Number 10 ... oops, that just slipped out.

Now enthralled by all the wonderfully creative, intelligent and often astonishingly well-written fanfiction in the Sherlock fandom - truly awe-inspiring, much of it including jaw-droppingly clever, coherent and character-accurate plots whilst exploring all those breathtaking emotional areas the TV series tantalizingly skirts around. Would that I could write fanfics myself but - sadly lacking in imagination - i have never even tried to compete with all those consummate authors out there who have both imagination AND writing skills. But I am so very, very grateful to you all.
