When Hal is captured by Pope, Tom and his family go to rescue him, and both find help from an unlikely source. 'This is a rewrite of 5x04 and 5x05, with an added scene in 5x02.'

A missing scene from the recent episode "When Push Comes to Shove", because I enjoyed the episode so much I wanted to spend some more time in it. This takes place immediately after Cameron saves Nina on the rooftop and deals with the repercussions of what has happened.

Set directly after Ambush- Callen received a nasty knock to the head at the Militia camp- was he really as ok as he seemed? And why does he always refuse to admit when he is hurt? One Shot.

Clint waits to tell the others he's been shot until they get to the extraction point, but when he makes it there SHIELD isn't coming. Not for an unknown while, anyway, and Clint probably won't last that long. Clint!Whump where Bruce, Phil, and Steve make saving Clint their only priority, each for reasons beyond team.

He had cracked, broken, and dislocated plenty of ribs in the past and in the big picture, this was one of the more painful occurrences, but also one of the more rewarding. Clint gets a little ornery with a few unexpected consequences and perks...All Avengers mentioned.

An expanded version of the story done for the fanblog contest on how G Callen got the scar on his chin. I decided to divide it into chapters so that I could develop the story a little and include more Hurt/Comfort "stuff." Sam and Callen find themselves in a bad situation after the team rushes in to stop a weapons' deal. Some G whumpage and caring Sam for the H/C lover in me.
