There's actually not much you need to know about me, except that I am an avid reader who particularly enjoys well-written and well thought out storylines.

I believe reviews should not be handed out like candy. A review can be a valuable learning tool for a writer and I try never to forget that. So, if a chapter or story moves me to review, then I have really enjoyed it. Conversely, if my review contains constructive criticism, it will always be polite and well intentioned - I do not believe in flaming an author who has taken the time to produce something for the enjoyment of others. As a non-writer, I find it a little desperate that some writers continually ask for reviews. It makes me less inclined to want to review as the writer is thinking more about quantity of reviews than the all important quality.
