In most of the stories, the Curtis Brothers have a heartless social worker who is always on Darry's case or something of the sort. But what happens when their social worker falls in love with Darry instead of calling him an unfit guardian? Darry/OC

Darry decided Pony was well enough to go back. To school. To life. Well enough from the concussion, from the loss of Johnny and Dally. I want to scream. He's apparently not well. I'm suddenly scared.

As Darry, Sodapop, and Ponyboy wait in the hospital to hear the diagnosis for Johnny and Dally after the fire in Windrixville, they have a conversation none of them will ever forget, full of words they all needed to hear.

"I talked to some people, and figured out that he had been staying here at this house with your family. Is Dallas here? I'm James Winston, his father." A year after Dally's death, his father comes looking for his son in Tulsa. One shot.

Ponyboy thought writing his theme would help him cope, it didn't. He's spiraling out of control and getting into even more trouble; trouble that could cost him his life. Friends and family describe him as a totally different person. What's going on? R&R!

What if Ponyboy and Sodapop were taken away from Darry and placed in a boys home? How would they react? How would they plan to escape? All they want is to be a family again.

"If it were knives or, chains, it would be different. Come on, Darry, let me fight!" Sometimes, drunks forget the rules.

Christmas is looking like it will be a big letdown for the Curtis boys, the first year celebrating without their parents. But circumstances can change, when you least expect it. One-shot for Christmas 2011.

This all started out rather simple, I would wake up and not remember a single thing, then they died, they grew worse, every time that I close my eyes, their images, they taunt me, drawing my only escape but a trap all the same...

The rain soaked through my dress coat. I shivered, but I knew it wasn't from the cold. Darry's arm found its way around my shoulders and his hand squeezed it real tight. I knew it was supposed to reassure me but at the same time, I think he was also trying to keep me close. After all, we were all we had left now.

They all thought that it was going to be just a fun field trip to Chicago. But then..."Darry?" Two-Bit asked, his voice frantic. "What, Two-Bit?" Darry urged, the alarm in Two-Bit's voice scaring him. "Ponyboy's missing." Not your average kidnapped story.

Despite what Darry would say, Ponyboy was thinking.

Darry knew he'd live with guilt for forever. He couldn't see past Pony's wall. Pony knew Darry didn't get him. He didn't get Darry. A summer spent doing community service with Curly was going to make him appreciate Darry more than he could ever imagine.
