Update: The project I mentioned below has kicked off...development has begun on an archive, which will take a while to complete, but there is a link library up for readers to both add their favorite BtVS fic links, as well as to access others favorite links. Come on over, the shelves are empty and need filling. The archive will be Spike-centric fic, but the link library is open to *all* BtVS fiction sites. Truly, I am at a loss for words. I've removed all of my stories except the one that is in progress -- I'll leave Carthage up until I get my process a little more refined.

I've written to ask ff.net for my money back, and I hope that many of you will do the same. For all the issues that this site has had, I have supported it because the notion of a 'library' for fan fiction, where *all* fic is available for public consumption, was something I found wonderful and worthy of my support. This is no longer the case.

I'll be sorry to leave, because ff.net has been the best, sometimes only, place to receive feedback and to improve the writing.

I'm working with a group of volunteers to establish an archive for Spike-friendly fic. Watch this space for an announcement of its opening in the next couple of weeks.
