Author has written 8 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Fullmetal Alchemist, Trigun, Vampire Hunter D, FAKE, and Pet Shop of Horrors. My name is Mishiru, also known as Mishi. It's not my real name, but it's all you get. However, only my family and my teachers and other people in positions of authority call me by my real name. I'm also known as Thulesse on Deviantart and Clover at a certain Girl Guide Camp. I'm 19. My birthday is September 21rst. My DevArt page is thulesse.deviantart.com, and my livejournal is mishi_sings.livejournal.com. Send me fanart and you'll have my undying gratitude. Currently I'm in my third year of CEGEP, finishing up my Visual Arts program. I hope to go on to University and major in studio arts and minor in creative writing. Meanwhile I'll be spending my time RPing, taking driving lessons, writing stories, drawing pretty pictures, making comics, helping MWOS, and occasionally going to class. I haven't posted any fanfiction to this account in years. I don't have any plans to submit fanfiction to it in the future, so if you've subscribed to me just now, forget about it. I write about as fast as a speeding glacier, my 3x3 Eyes/Inuyasha/Yu-gi-oh crossover fic is pretty much dead, and I only have two ideas I still want to write. And those take a backseat to my original projects. By the way, I've just been diagnosed with ADD, so if you think I'll even be able to pay attention to those two plot bunnies for more than five minutes straight, well, your boundless optimism is charming. I'm an anime fan. I don't exclusively read/watch shoujo or shounen or any other genre. To me it doesn't matter so long as it has a gripping story and compelling characters... And a bishounen or two doesn't hurt. I honestly don't care whether I'm watching subtitled or dubbed so long as my ears don't bleed. I do have a limit to the kind of stuff I can stand. I may call myself a yaoi fan, but I'm not truly comfortable with the graphic sex portrayed in some of those series, and probably wouldn't be comfortable with similarly graphic scenes in straight hentai or yuri. My one exception is Fumi Yoshinaga, who is a mangaka I love. I'm also the kind of perverse fan who likes a show until it becomes popular. This is what I call the overdose problem. You'll like a series, and it will be all fine and dandy, until some North American company picks it up and shows it on TV. Then, after people talk me to death on the subject, I will quickly lose interest in the series, FOREVER. I used to love Inuyasha. Now I have acheived a lofty plateau of indifference toward it. Because I am fluent in English and French and live in a city where manga in both languages is readily available, I am a very happy fan. I could talk forever about what kind of anime fan I am, so I'll stop here. Anime/Manga I love: Slayers, Trigun, Berserk, Princess Tutu, Petshop of Horrors, Yu-gi-oh, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Revolutionary Girl Utena, xxxHolic, Legal Drug, FAKE, Antique Bakery, Avatar: The Last Airbender Books/Series I love: Sandman, Discworld, Good Omens, Eight Worlds Chronicles, Gaean Trilogy, Foundation Trilogy, League of Peoples Books, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Authors I love: Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, John Varley, Isaac Asimov, James Alan Gardner, David Weber, Robert Asprin, Douglas Adams, Shakespeare |
