I grew up within the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. In school he became often known as the 'good drawer' which partly compensated for all the time being the shortest kid in every class. He graduated from the College of WA in 1995 with joint honours in Wonderful Arts and English Literature, and presently works full time as a contract artist and creator in Melbourne.
