Hi, my name is Jacob and I’m a fan of mostly anything…

I’m a Christian but I am a strong believer in one’s right to their own opinion (I don’t hate) so long as it does not bring harm to others.

Meanwhile I'm hopelessly romantic... not getting any further into that

Love art in any shape, form, and method. Constantly daydreaming and working on elaborate story ideas while also working at creating animated versions that I have yet to be satisfied with.

As much as I love telling stories I also love reading and/or watching them. As bad as a story may be I try to challenge myself to find reasons how “bad ideas” may actually work, sometimes with success.

Favorite Storytellers: Isaac Asimov, H.G. Wells, Tolkein, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Greg Farshtey, C.S. Lewis, Stan Lee...

Top Fandoms: The Matrix franchise, Star Wars franchise (including prequels and expanded universe), Doctor Who/Torchwood, Tolkein-verse, anything Sherlock Holmes-based, TRON franchise, anything by Craig McCracken, all the Disney/Pixar films (cinematic), How I Met Your Mother, Mamma Mia!, SpongeBob (yes I’m one of those guys), Nostagia Critic, Galidor, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Underworld films series, Back to the Future trilogy, Star Trek franchise, Gargantia on the Verduous Planet, Friends, Seinfeld, Resident Evil franchise (films and games), Boy Meets World, Hey Arnold, Gargoyles, Home Improvement, Calvin and Hobbes, Peanuts (Charlie Brown), BIONICLE, Halo series, anything by C.S. Lewis, all TMNT versions, Transformers franchises (even the films. Yes they can be bad at times… deal with it), Stargate franchise, Firefly, The Walking Dead (comics and TV show), anything by Neil Gaiman (The Sandman is a genre of its own), Gurren Lagann, Pokemon, Battlestar Galactica, all things Marvel Comics, all thing DC Comics (especially Batman), Muppets, How It Should Have Ended, Red vs Blue, Overly Attached Girlfriend, Mad Max franchise, Looney Tunes, anything else with zombies or vampires (not sure about Twilight yet though), Fringe, Ben 10 franchise,… I’d go on, but I think you get the idea…

Top Genres: Sci-fi, space opera, musical, comedy, slapstick, rom-com, sitcom, suspence, superhero, speculative fiction, action/adventure, cyberpunk, steampunk, epic fantasy, and so on...

What I Like in a Story (My Opinion): Originality (especially when adapting a previously made product), visual creativity (if its a visual medium), character development that is not forced, continuity, the ability to keep one guessing as to the turn-out, etc.

Fun Topics: conspiracy theory, vengeance, complicated romance, war, revolution, secret reality(ies) all around us which we are blind to, life and death, metaphysical theory, time/space problems, alien activity, paranormal investigation, superheroes/villains, internal conflict...
