![]() Author has written 3 stories for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Labyrinth. Pen Name: Tsukare (tsŏŏ'kä'rě) Personal Message: Hm, not much to say except thank you for reading my pieces! Miscellaneous Facts: --Tsukare is not my original FFN pen name. Apologies to those who used to follow me for the PW fics, but if you've found me out--and it's not that hard--it's all good, ey? I changed the name simply for a change of pace. All of my other website accounts have generally the same name I used to have here. --I love the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series--I'm an absurd Maya/Edgeworth shipper. However, I do enjoy reading stories of other pairs, as well as just general wackiness that one inevitably encounters in the PW universe. --I am addicted to chocolate. Additional Story Comments: 1. Learning To Laugh: It almost never got written. I'm more of a (wannabe) artist rather than a writer, but a few friends convinced me to get an account here...so I did. And this is the result. I was heavily motivated by music; a friend reintroduced me to Hellogoodbye, whom I never knew I knew until I rediscovered "Here In Your Arms". That song is my current theme favorite for the Maya x Edgeworth ship. Also, "Oh, It Is Love" by Hellogoodbye reduced me to blithering mush the first, second, and millionth time I heard it, and put me in the mood to write the fluff scenes of LTL. "Her Eyes" by Pat Monahan had no part in the story until I chanced to hear it at the dentist's office...when I heard the lyrics, it just hit me as perfect to go with the story. If you know the song, you can probably guess why. Finally, once again, I am very grateful to everyone who read and reviewed this story. 2. If Dreams Came True: The original direction of the story would have resulted in Sarah succumbing to her fantasy, and thus insanity. There would have been more backstory on how she wasn't really happy with her life, and how she found solace only in her vivid imagination. She would have fought her madness, as she fought Jareth in the actual story, but in the end, he would have made an offer to stay with him and she'd accept. The result would have seen Sarah being committed to a mental asylum, where she would have eventually died. She'd be insane--trapped in her own imagination--but she'd have died quite happy. A bit different from the published version, hm? But this ending didn't seem to want to be written this time around. I gladly pose it as a challenge for someone else, though. =) |
