In the moonlit forest of Lothlorien, Lord Celeborn is spending the evening walking through his land when he encounters his beloved wife, Galadriel. Seeing her brings warm feelings to his heart, as well as many memories of their time together.

"When did you know for certain?" Spock and Nyota have conversations, as couples sometimes do, about their past, their future, and the events that shape their relationship. A mix of deeper thoughts, lighter thoughts, and some teasing as the two look back at how their relationship developed.

Uhura/Spock origins story. Set during Nyota's last three years at the Academy, ends with the end of the 2009 film. Goes slowly, tries to keep it realistic. Kinda. /-/-/ Nyota has always loved everything about Vulcan. She was enamoured with the culture. So when she finds out one of her teachers this year is a Vulcan, her excitement is understandable...

Takes place after Into Darkness. Spock's pon farr symptoms come on more quickly than usual.
