One question has many answers, to the point where neither Lily nor James seem to completely know for sure: "Are you two dating?"

Lily Evans and James Potter go toe-to-toe, solving their issues the old fashioned way- through a duel. Lily Evans doesn't know what she wants but James Potter just wants to be good enough. One-shot.

Lily intended to spend one night on James's pirate ship and leave with her purse a bit heavier. Now she's stuck on board, which might be less annoying if she could figure out where they were bloody going, if half the crew didn't suspect her of sabotage, and if she weren't falling for the captain. And why on earth is his cat wearing an eye patch?

Moments. They make or break relationships. Lily didn't just happen to fall in love with James. It wasn't an accident, but a long drawn out process that grew out of the relationships of the people around them. And when it came down to it, even Lily and James couldn't fight fate.
