The process of getting from "you" and "me" to "us" is a long, hard, complicated one. A series of vignettes exploring the early days of Soul and Maka's partnership and the road from strangers to best friends. Chapter 14: Soul has a tricky time making the shift between being a sheltered child of wealthy parents and being an emancipated minor with a pretty tight budget.

Deep down the two loved each other, Maka was more than just his meister, Soul was more than just her weapon. They were fighting, the fight got heated words were said making one leave the house. Soma, Definitely Lemon.

The cafe was cool and cozy, perfect for such a hot summer, and the staff seemed very polite and helpful. It was perfect for a date. Only, this wasn't a date. She was here for the sex and the person she intended to meet was the prostitute who was going to give it to her. He was a handsome man, and she knew it was going to be one expensive ride for her. AU.

The circus is in town and strange things are afoot, not the least of which is the sudden disappearance of Maka's father and horse. When she finds her stolen horse at the circus, her attempt to steal him back goes wrong and a strange red-eyed pianist catches her in the act. Something's very wrong, her father is still missing, and now she's trapped in a terrifying new world.

Soul Eater Discworld AU. Maka, a young witch in training, isn't exactly sure how to hold a conversation with a talking scythe, but she'll do her best. Meanwhile, how did he get that way in the first place, and why are her friends going on adventures without telling her what they're up to? Eventual SoulxMaka.

Spirit just can't handle the thought of his darling daughter having sex; luckily for Soul, Maka's not about to take her father's meddling without dealing out some revenge.

Bastion AU. When the Calamity strikes and the old world is destroyed, Maka is left with nothing. But she soon finds a lonely group of survivors: Stein, the mad doctor, Kid, the shell-shocked diplomat, and Soul, the quiet young man who can swing a hammer. Mostly against her will. But crappy motels and a couple hundred miles can change a lot between two people. Soul/Maka.

Soul knows that what he feels for that pig-tailed mortal girl is unhealthy. He desires her blood, but somehow he wants even more than that. He wants her whole being. He wants that smell of cinnamon milk, wet forest, and his father's jacket. He wants to remember. Vampire AU!

Maka and Soul get separated in a fight against two kishin eggs, and Maka discovers something about herself that she never knew. Written for days one through three of SoMa Week.

" A voice seemed to echo through the room, but no one else reacted to it. Maka looked back over at little Soul, and froze. Sitting next to him, was what looked like an even older version of the Soul she knew. His subconscious bristled at that, and Maka tried to be apologetic, but she couldn't help it. He looked just like his brother." In which, Soul finally opens his mind to Maka.

She slowly walked through the corridors, thinking to herself how much she would miss the place. Here was where she had learned to become a meister, here was where she had grown up, grown into a strong young woman, here was where she had met her closest friends and created her fondest memories. Of course, here was also where she had met Soul. My contribution to SoMa Week Day 1.

AU: Maka is senior in high school, and goes to visit her friend Tsubaki at Shibusen University for Halloween weekend. She's come to have fun, but she gets more than she bargained for when she makes friends with a really sweet guy with white hair and red eyes. rated M for future lemons and limes.

Spirit accumulates a large debt, one he cannot pay off alone, forcing Maka to have to take up work at ChupaCabra's. She's willing to do what's necessary to earn the money as long as that doesn't require selling her body. But what happens when Soul Evans appears, offering to clear her debt if she agrees to be his personal toy?

Sharing a bed with her partner had long ago ceased to be an issue for Maka, but it was an entirely different matter when erections were involved, erections that were pressed against her butt. Just what she needed on top of a mission they seemed to be doomed to fail spectacularly.

WEREWOLF AU. Because, really, she didn't need to know that he was all ready to join the elder wolves and he already had a female all picked out and it certainly wasn't her because, like he said, who'd wanna' spend the rest of forever with a violent, pedantic, flat chest like her?

AU. Because despite all the women who offered themselves to him, he kept HER company that entire break.
