Hi to all Fanatics.

Still alive and on the absolute verge of
posting about three different fan fics. All HP oriented. They
contain no Mary Sues. (yeah!)

Update: 04/07/06year

Okay, if you read on you will find that I postponed updating till after HP #06. I read the book and was seriously disappointed and this put me in a funk. I still love books 1-5. Book six just was such a let down after book 5's excellent writing, suspense, darkness, adultness, etc...Book 6 makes me think Harry is the Golden idiot, like Draco and Snape even more, still wanna punch Dumbledore, kiss Hermione (on the cheek) (I still don't like her in fanfictions) and watch her shag the entire school while laughing, see Ron get it on with Lavender, not really give a care about book 7, and so on and so forth. There were some interesting parts like the beginning and then way before the middle it just went down hill. I am mad at JKR for making me dislike Harry as a character. I really was glad when Draco stomped on his nose. Harry was a jerk.

As you can see, I still have amighty chip on my shoulder about book 6. This has not discouraged my like of reading FanFiction but has increased my interest at other slash categories like anime, tv, game but not in pairings (Hp/Dm all the way) I do like other pairings but I DO LOATHE threesomes that profess anysort of love. Threesomes are only good for shagging. Down with threesomes. They are bad reads and unrealistic relationships. yuck.

Anyway, I will be updating before 10/11/06 . Isn't that promising. (maybe you are not impressed) But I am superbly confident that all will come to fruition. :yea, for me:

Confession: One reason that I have yet to update is The Family involves many OCs. I generally don't like even reading fics with OCs so why am I writing one? Well this is supposed to be a fic that down plays the OCs while still including them as they are necessary. Really. So, anyway writing them and some of the back ground from whence Harry's creature features come is a bit difficult and there is some odd writer's block there. Not impossible to get around and if I just focus on writing, I will get around to it quite quickly. Thus I must focus on writting fanfic and not reading it. So it is on to a reading hiaitus (sp).

As for flames. I know I have gotten some, but that was a while back. I haven't read any reviews since who knows when cause I am not going to reply at all until I at least update, so no point in reading reviews and dwelling on them for like forever until I can nip it in the bud.

Reviewers and Readers must know that I do not write for them but for me. So if you don't like what I write, so what. I am not a review hoarder who must get good reviews to feel good about myself. If that was the case then I wouldn't write in the first place. I am also not the most brilliant writer, though I know I can write better than some here on FFnet. Maybe it is an age thing or a language thing, but there are some of folk who get the Most uber-genki reviews on works of dog-poo. I know I can do better than some and did so wayback in elementary or to be humble Jr. High. Seriously. So anyone can try to cowardly bring me down by making personal attacks, but it won't work. I am like Simon from American Idol if not better/worse. Depends on how you look at it. You can talk about me all you want. All you do is make me want to shag Ryan Seacrest even more. yum. :-D Okay. Nuff. Updates will come before the summer is out and that is all that I am saying.

About Updates:

Well I have gotten one up by Jan. 9th. The others will be out shortly. I will be working on all three simultaneously because they inspire each other

As for updates, my goals are 1-2 chapters a months for each fic. As of now I see that as reasonalbe and do-able. If it becomes otherwise I will let yal know.

NOTE: The above was written ages ago and I look back and feel the old rains of nostalgia. I find my sincerity amusing and a bit sad. Well anyway there are tons of fics coming but then life has been busy and fun and exciting so I have not had the time to update or post. Yes, folk are upset, and when I start again you will be well rewarded. However the new HP book is due out soon and I am not posting anything till I have read it and waited out the excitement of the new book and all it's cannon.

Unfortuately most of the fics I will post will completely ignore book 6. So be warned. The only way my fics will include book 6 cannon is if it goes in a way I can follow with the fic plots that I have already begun and well on my way to finishing. That is unlikely so I will write seperate fics dealing with book 6 cannon later. Much later.

I am very apologetic for the fic delays that I currently have but it really cannot be helped.

Enjoy book 6 and I will see you around Aug/Sept.-ish.

About my writing fan fiction:

I've been writing fan fiction for a long time, but have never posted any on
the internet because I wrote for me and had no clue others did the same
thing. I also had no clue people posted them on the internet. I am
thrilled, but have been more of a reader than a writer as of late. I do
enjoy reviewing and now am looking forward to recieving reviews of my
own.

I am interested in improving my writing fiction skills in all areas. I want to produce fanfiction that I would want to read. I most interested in slash fiction. I read all kinds of fan fiction: anime, books, tv shows, movie, games, etc. . . I would like to expand my writing to these categories as well and have for at least one fic in all those categories. (Wish me luck. By the summer I hope for at least one fic in every category.)

As for the old fan fics I wrote long long ago, I would love to post
those, but first I have to get my hands on them. I and those fics are

My opinion on fan fic elements:

Mary Sue(s):
I do not like Mary Sues at all. They irk me so very much. They usually
solve all character problems without so much a blink of the eye, are
nearly always perfect, extremely powerful, and worst of all they
usually are the focus of the fic. I read fan fics cause I am a fan of
the characters that already exist. I dislike it when those characters
are over shadowed by some writers alter ego.

OC(s): I do
not mind OCs at all. They are a very good way of introducing dimensions
and what not to a fic, but should not become Mary Sue-ish, and they definatelly should not undermind or be more important than the main character(s) of the original book/film/tv series/etc. . .And Super-especially not over shadow any delicoiusly adorable slash paring. Like a super-chic in a slash pairing fic, for example. What is this girl doing in my guy on guy fic anyway?

Music Lyrics in fics: I
think they are very useful for expression, but I do not particularly
like it when there is a serverly long insert of a song (the entire
thing) in the middle of a fic. If a character is singing a song, maybe
writers should consider inserting the song with the tab button. Put the
song side by side instead of length ways. Give it a shot. The best way
to enter a song or poem into a fic that is not being directly said or
sung by a character and is just for some kind of emphasis is to insert
it in throughout the fic. It has more impact, is more creative and
doesn't disrupt the fic, in my opinion.

One more Note:There
is more to come with my bio. I will be posting a Live Journal Page
soon. (The page was created in June 2004 but I haven' t been to visit
since July, perhaps August.) Shame on me, but it was because of the
move I was involved in, and since the journal page was really for
FanFiction that I was writing it along with the fics were postponed.
But I will try to post real soon.
