My take on the Slytherin!Harry genre. What if Harry's less-than-happy childhood had left him more jaded than canon? No pairings, and you won't find any eleven year olds talking as if they were at a Renaissance fair here either.

Pre-Series AU. Sam leaves for Stanford, thinking only about finally fulfilling his dream of having a normal life. Instead, he is kidnapped and his life becomes anything but normal. Sequel to HP Years 4 & 5. Following his disastrous fifth year, Harry desperately trains and tries to learn what Voldemort's Horcruxes are, and to figure out why he keeps losing his memory after detentions with a certain new professor...

Sequel to Resonance and Revolution. Harry enters his second year as an Auror Apprentice. Snape's wedding looms, and Harry's odd new powers mature, creating mayhem, perilous temptations, and opportunities to gain real wisdom.

Harry is beginning to suspect that he might not be up to this Master of Death business and everything that goes along with it.

Rescued from Privet Drive by Severus Snape, Harry deages himself during a rash plan, retaining his 16 yr old mind. Can Harry trust the only one who seems to understand him now and who is brewing the potion he needs to recover? AU 6th year. No slash.
