Then there's the fic 'Howling'

Summary: Werewolf: A male that transforms into a blood hungry wolf at every full moon. Hunted by many for a long time, ever since the myth came to rise. Feared by many, as new and more frightening tales appeared. One howl at the moon would make one shiver. Regarded as a superstition by many.
And the man in question? Seen as a dangerous man, who should be hunted down and killed.
How would a young werewolf survive? How would he manage to live his life, free from prejudice?
The answer?
He can't.

So how will Remus Lupin cope?

Year one: Remus is scared. He is about to enter a new school, with no friends and no hopes of making any. Being a werewolf has affected his character. He has no chance of fitting in anywhere, even if no one knows his secret. It was a miracle that he got in to the school and Remus knows miracles don't come around too often. Especially not for him.
But there is this one boy.
Maybe, Remus' life is about to change...
