![]() Author has written 3 stories for Phantom of the Opera. I am totally and utterly obsessed with the POTO. I have been since kindergarten when my mom went to see the musical and brought home the cassette (haha, ya, I'm old enough to remember cassettes). I memorized all the lyrics but it wasn't until highschool that I finally got to see it live (I've now gotten to see it twice). Soon after I read the Leroux and Kay versions, both of which I loved. I saw the 2004 movie when it came out but was...unimpressed to say the least however I had the chance to watch the 1925 version on youtube and was very impressed (except for Erik being an escapee from a prison for the criminally insane and of course, the ending...). I discovered phanfiction in highschool and loved it so I've been reading for years but never wrote anything until recently. My first fic, You Alone, is sort of a combination of Leroux/Kay/ALW musical. I was kind of flying by the seat of my pants, being new to writing phanfic and all, so I can only hope it turned out well. thank you to littlecherub5, phantomangelex, carillon, littlelottexoxerikstrueangel, macherie, thasinger123, altgirl76, invaderoperaghost, sayuristang, goodbyeybr, ihearterik, paola a., christine daae desler, signedog, madhatter45, mike'sgrrl, authorgirl, whatever, the phantom's christine, music's enchantment, alphawolf69, christine8025, stella9876, kristinalinda and dark lady of the circus for reviewing. Rosebud is a Leroux based one shot that's about Christine's birthday... not a particularly happy fic but I was pleased with how the story turned out. thank you to madlizzy, authorgirl, busanda, madhatter45, katherine silverhair, carillon and dark lady of the circus for reviewing. Note: Hi! I haven't written anything POTO related in a while because I have been working on a couple of other, larger projects :) One of them is for sale in the Amazon Kindle store, and if you like what I've written here, you might enjoy that as well because it's about Hades & Persephone, and as any Phan knows, the two stories have a lot of similarities. It's called The Destroyer of Light and the pen name is H. Tullius. Thanks so much! |
