I'm a student, and evidently more of a reader than a writer. However, I'm very open to any advice or criticism you care to direct my way.
When I'm reading fanfics I like to see that people think about the characters and keep them plausible. I read fanfiction because of the untapped richness of the worlds, characters and events. Canon’s great, but it can’t focus on everything, and its so much fun to see someone investigate a minor character or throw a different light on one taken for granted.
I’m generally more likely to think of characters as straight unless in the canon they behave in a homo-suggestive way, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate a well written yaoi/yuri fic.

I go through a lot of sudden whims, and so in a vague way I know a bit about weapons, herbs, cooking, bonsai, martial arts, chemistry, knitting and forensics. There are others, but I can't remember them.
I only understand English, although both parents speak two or three other languages, none of their languages overlap so English is the only thing spoken in our house.
