Based on a request by the ever-lovely Alex311: AU where Rick and Michonne were married before the Turn. I have given this request some serious consideration and wanted to write it from the view that Michonne would have been in hospital when people were evacuated and someone told Rick and Carl that she had died in order to get them to leave

Based on 'A Home' by the Dixie Chicks and thought how crushing it would be if the writers ruined an amazing chance for Rick and Michonne to be happy together on screen *sighs sadly* This is what I came up with…There's room for more chapters, but right now this is a one shot.
