04/23/2004: Oh boy, when writer’s block gets you, it gets you good. I tried to type some of the stories that I wanted to type, but many things got in the way, such as college and the aforementioned writer’s block. Oh, and games – such as GoldenEye & Mario Tennis for the N64, and Descent: Maximum for the PSOne. Yeah, I’m old-fashioned…_

Let’s just say that maybe during the summer, when I have literally NOTHING to do, I will type up some of the stories that I mentioned in my previous bio. Until then, they are in limbo.

Update: Turns out that one of the Sorcerer Hunters stories I was trying to formulate had an idea that was based on JacFu’s stories, particularly those of the New Reality series (discontinued, perhaps?), and that of the Sorcerer Hunters RPG JacFu was creating. Well, that RPG was becoming stagnant (that is, it looked like nothing was being done about it), until recently - as I was looking into the RPG after several months the last I saw of it, I found that the website hosting the RPG was updated, with several bad guys already named (and the other categories for people to join in are unavailable at this time). This means that the RPG might be in full swing soon, so that my fic about it will become unnecessary. Stay tuned for more info on this (maybe in a few months, because this RPG goes about very slowly).

Anyways, recent news concerning one of my favorite shows is that Five, the British Cable Channel that broadcasted the Robot Wars (UK) series stopped after the newly-finished Seventh Wars because of budget problems. This means that most likely there will be no Robot Wars until the roboteers themselves, in their roboteer union (whatever it is – I don’t quite remember), decide on a World Championship or something. And even then, who will broadcast the carnage? Smeg knows.

This gave me an idea for an Anime story for which I will call Robot Wars: The Anime Wars. Basically, if you have watched Robot Wars (it is on Tech TV now, everyday except Sunday), it’s where a robot fights against another robot in the arena, and the fight ends if: A) the time ends, whereupon the judges decide who wins the fight; B) one robot gets put out of the arena or gets pushed into the Pit of Oblivion, whereupon the winner is the robot who survives; or C) one robot is immobilized for at least 30 seconds, where the RefBot comes in and counts the robot out – if the robot can’t move significantly anywhere within the 10 seconds of counting, the robot loses, and the fight ends. Of course, there are many variations for the fights in Robot Wars, and I hope to write those scenarios for the story. Hopefully, I will write the story soon, since I have most of the material in my head anyway.
