Hello. Karen here. I like to dissect things and I am a burrito.

Well, I suppose that I don't enjoy dissecting things as much as I used to. My scalpel's made its way slowly to the back of my desk drawer, although it's still there, which says enough.

I like foOd and sleep and Times New Roman. I also like ants, web design, and reading fanfiction, mostly (well-written) Harry Potter fics. I don't like Comic Sans, and I'm terrified of spiders. I'm not scared of insects or miscellaneous rodents, but anything with eight legs that's not a crustacean frightens me to no end.

As much as I like reading and writing, I wouldn't say I'm too good of a fanfiction writer, unless you count crackfic -- but even then, I have difficulties motivating myself. I do, however, enjoy writing interpretive essays very much, even on books that I don't particularly enjoy.

Speaking of books, I've a number of favorites, mostly clustering in the fantasy and sci-fi genres. These include Harry Potter, the Ender Saga (and Shadow Saga), and the Hitchhiker's Guide. Dystopian fiction is always good too. At the moment, my favorite novels are probably Crime and Punishment and Catch-22.

Lately (and by that I mean in the last several years), I've preferred manga over books in my free time, possibly because books take too long to read. I follow too many series to list, as I really started derping with anime and manga when I was in first grade. (I'm now in college.)
