This fic takes place in the future...about 6 or 7 years from the end of season three. Eli comes back home for a wedding...Grace's wedding to someone else. Will it be a happily ever after for the two?

This story follows the same storyline as in the show, but with a twist: it's told from Shelby's POV.

EG Eli broke her heart once before, even if he didn't know it. Since then, Grace has carefully rebuilt her life without him in it. When they both return home for the holidays, Grace will have to remain resolute while Eli purposely tests her resolve.
