Most people say heroes fight for others. But against a threat like the Reapers, everybody needs a reason of their own, however selfish it is. One hero fights on the battlefield with guns, bullets and soldiers, the other from the shadows with knowledge, lies and power. Together, they must force an unwilling galaxy to prepare for the Reapers.

Covering my version of events for roughly two centuries following the War. The Reapers have been defeated, and a wounded galaxy rebuilds.

Shepard and Liara and their two kids start new journeys in their life. Shepard is retired and Liara is starting a new career. Miranda and Arelia are bonded and Valya and Dara have their first child. This story is a continuation of Born of Dreams.

AU:Lightning comes out of crystalstasis in the middle of a revived conflict with PSICOM, the last l'Cie to wake after the fall of Cocoon. Hope has a five year head-start, but even his expert mechanical skills can't fix the bigger problems of their future.

Commander Shepard seeks help with sniper rifle training and Garrus and Thane are enlisted as tutors. However, unbeknownst to them, she has a some mischievous amusement planned at their expense.

Chaos returns to Roanapur as the Triads and Hotel Moscow start their inevitable war. Old alliances clash with new ones, and the only person who can save them all is pressing out his collared shirt by the bed. Revy and Rock. Chang and Balalaika.
