![]() I love writing, reading and editing. I love to write literary criticism too, but don't be afraid; I don't flame people, even if I am tough sometimes on my critiques. Just ask my koohaii Sage-Libra and read the first critique, by date that is, that I wrote for her to give you an idea of what you can expect from me as a literary critic. A few stats about me, I'm five feet 8 inches tall. I weigh in at about 130 lbs. I have blond hair (I'm a guy so it's spelled blond, not blonde) and brown eyes. I'm a queerboi and I wouldn't want to be of any other orientation even if I had a choice. (BTW people, being queer is nothing to be ashamed of and nothing to hide from others, so if you're in the closet, please come out and be counted. Also the word, "gay" is dead. Let that stupid word for us rest in peace. (I'd rather be called a human being, but if you have to use a label, I'll take queer over gay every time.) I'm 20 years old. I live in North Central Texas, somewhere in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth Area Metroplex. I'm a graduate student in the Humanities, studies in Literary Sciences, and Creative Writing, at a local university here. Please feel free to write to me at the message center here or at my email address. Also I'm on AIM as IronKoji. Look me up, let me know who you are and give me a shout out. Write not in anger, but write well. Write because you have to, not because you want to. Enjoy writing! Enjoy reading! Learn to be a good reader as well, because good reading skills are essential to good writing. There is no such thing as writer's block! Writer's block is an excuse for lazy people to stop writing. Write anyway, even if it hurts or it doesn't seem up to the quality of your standards; you can always go back, rewrite, edit and fix things later, but if you don't write everyday, no excuses and no time off for good behavior and that includes holidays, even the highest holidays of your country and your faith (if you have one) your birthday, your aunt's second wedding, or a funeral in the family are not acceptable as excuses for not writing, then you are a poser and not a writer. People who claim to have writer's block are just lazy pretenders. Real writers write everyday no matter what! Good luck and good writing to all of you out there. I wish you all the best and can't wait to read your stories. Koji |
