So, I would be Rachel. I'm an nineteen-year-old, born and raised in the northern Los Angeles area of California. I'm a college student, intent on getting a degree in English and getting my butt published.

Now, writing. Yes... my first written (and illustrated) 'masterpiece' was done in my early years at elementary school. It included my niece, whom at the time had just been born, being the sole survivor in a plane crash somewhere in a remote jungle. She was befriended by a talking monkey and bird, a toucan, I believe it was. As you can tell, it surely was a wonderful story and surprisingly, it was published by my school where it still sits to day in its beloved library.

Hopefully my writing has improved slightly since the time when I considered a speaking primate to be the work of a genius, although I did go through that period of time when I thought there was nothing in the world better than NSYNC fiction, mostly slash. Though rendezvous into that genre are currently sealed tightly in a box in my garage, hopefully never to be seen by human eyes again... mutters thank the Elements that phase has passed.

On to other things. Harry Potter. I started reading Harry Potter in winter 2001, I believe, and never stopped. I'm not sure what it is about the books (besides Sirius in general), but it's just kept me hooked. I have very strong opinions on the books and its characters though... it's definitely my strongest Taurus trait.
