It has been a while since I've posted to this and I think my writing has changed a little (hopefully for the better), I decided to make this continuation a separate post. However, this follows on from Heyes' Thread and The Kid's Thread in that order

Just a little bit on New Year silliness

This is my first ever fan fiction story that I posted. It's also why I chose my avatar. I have amended the story slightly as I know the characters much better now.

I have been asked how Heyes persuaded Mary to marry him. Readers are also asking me how the Kid met his wife and married her. So the stories come in two threads – Heyes' Thread and The Kid's Thread. Heyes' comes first, followed by the Kid's.

The first chapter was originally written as a challenge. Heyes goes to extraordinary lengths to prove to the Gang why they shouldn't do a much talked about job.
