PUBLIC OTAKU ANNOUNCEMENT !

It has come to my attention that many people are beginning to leave the Hetalia fandom. The reason behind this is not because the anime/manga is bad, or it had been cancelled, or anything having to do with Hetalia in general.

No, it's because of the fans.

Nowadays, words like "hetaboo" and "hetafags" are what most people associate with the Hetalia fandom. "Why is this?" You may ask. Well, Hetalia fans (or "Hetalians") were not as decent as they once were.

Instead of being polite about their fandom, they shove it down your throat.

Instead of respecting ships they don't like, they bash on those ships, saying things like "NUUUUUU!!11! MY SHIP IS SO MUCH BETTER BECAUSE blah blah blah."

Instead of loving the show in general, they obsess over the pairings.

This, my friends, is the outright definition of "weeaboo".

If this sort of behavior continues, more and more Hetalian begin to leave the fandom. In fact, it's already begun. Hetalians have already grown tired of their weeaboo-filled fandom. They can't fight those fans, so they have no choice but to leave in search of greener pastures. As a result, the fandom begins to lose exceptionally talented people-- artists, writers, gamemakers, roleplayers, cosplayers... the list goes on and on.

What would happen to the Hetalia fandom if we lost such incredible people? Our fandom would become empty-- a hollow shell, a piece of nothing. No one would love it. No one would care about it. "Who cares about that fandom anyway?" They would say. "They're all just a bunch of weeaboos and faggots."

Let me cut to the chase: WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN. It's just too much. I, for one, won't stand here and watch something I love to bits get ripped apart like this.

So, stand with me, and let's help this fandom. Bring it back to its former glory.

What's that you say? How?

Well, do anything and everything! Hunt down the weeaboos who try to attack! Convert them into decent Hetalians! Write! Read! Create! Just show your love for your fandom in an acceptable way!

With everyone's help, we can prove all of them wrong-- that we're not a "bunch of faggots and weeaboos". We are all simply a large group of people who enjoy one show, and who are not afraid to express their love for it.
