Hi, How are you? My name is Kim.

Okay so I always hate writing these things, why? Simple I never know what to say. However I figure that since this is a Fan Fiction site, giving a simple run down of the types of stories I like, would be a good way to start. Currently I am engrossed in several book series: The Sookie Stakehouse Novels, The Anita Blake Series, The Vampire Diaries, also by L.J. Smith The Nightworld Series. There are many more these are the one the readily come to mind.

Among them my favorite characters include: Eric Northman, Sookie Stakehouse (sometimes), and some minor characters. I am in love with Anita's strength not just physically; it is wonderful that there is a female character so empowered though sometimes she whines Edward always is there to slap some sense in her. Which brings me to my other favorite character (in The Anita Blake books) Edward aka Ted, I cannot explain my love for this character; and there are many other characters from this series that I adore if you want to know PM me we'll talk. In The Vampire Diaries it has got to be Damon, and honestly I think that he and Elena should be together. In Night World there are just too many different characters and I love the whole series; this one I started reading when I was 13 years old, I am still waiting for the end.

Now since I mentioned age let me say a few personal things about me. I am 31 years old, and a single Mom to a beautiful 5 year ols little girl. I LOVE to read (and passed that passion on to my daughter), have ever since I was able to understand the written word. I ruined my eyesight at a young age, 9 I believe, trying to read by moon or candle light. I also love to write, however I have never published anything on here (honestly, I am my own worst critic, I never think anything is good enough). I've been told I am good, especially my poems, but writing is a hobby. However, I am minoring in English Lit in college, why? Honestly, my advisor said I needed a minor the only majoring in Nursing was a gamble.

I apologize I am rambling I tend to do that, back to the subject at hand.

I personally find Gothic Fiction (aka: Gothic Romance or Gothic Novel) to be my favorite genre, and rather than get into a lengthy details let just say if you are interested in knowing more about it PM me I will explain.

I don't watch a whole lot of Television, but here are the one I enjoy (these are also the bulk of the Fan Fictions I read): House, White Collar, CSI (Las Vegas, Miami, and New York), Law and Order (CI, and SVU), BtVS, Angel, Charmed, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, The Mentalist, Franklin and Bash, True Blood.

As far as movies the list is way to long and broad. Put it this way I own several hundred movies on VHS, DVD, and Blue-ray, and have watched all of them many, many times. Why I like movies more than TV is simple I can read while watching a movie it's a little more difficult with a TV show. My musical taste is much the same as my movie taste.

So I think that covers most of it. Though I would like to say this I would love to publish something on here I just feel that I need to bounce ideas off someone else, so if you wanna kick around some ideas with me PM me.
