NEW CHAPTER - Letters with Liutana Chp. 5 "Effigy"

Know it's been a while but I'm back for a bit. Yay! :D

I am WITHOUT A DOUBT the biggest female Mortal Kombat dork around. Ask me anything about the series and I can answer with nerdy enthusiasm.

My favorite characters... well, you can look at my pen name and tell I'm sure, but I also like Jade, Liu Kang and Kung Lao. I happen to be a big romantic sap for Liutana (yeah that's right, I merged their names since no one else will) and am getting increasingly perturbed by how they never get to be together, or at least no serious romantic interaction takes place between them. My overactive imagination is forcing me to change that. Don't get me wrong, I won't do a ton of ridiculous fluff, I'm still an MK fan all the way... so expect gratuitous gore and martial arts. I've got a few ideas for stories that I plan to post, but I am not promising to be consistent.

Aside from writing, I also have a love of drawing. Up until recently, I was entirely pencil/paper, but now I'm trying my best to master drawing on a Wacom, and I'm slowly but surely getting better at it.

About My Stories

My Series

THE PEACE MILLENNIUM SAGA - These stories span a thousand year period after the War of Armageddon. It consists of stories revolving around Liu Kang and Kitana's lives in Edenia, and the trials they face while governing and protecting their kingdom, as well as raising their family. This series will also have an adaptation comic over on my dA page. It's slow coming, but I'm workin' on it...

"The Aftermath" - This story spans the first six months after the War. It centers around Liu Kang and Kitana's struggles with their own personal demons left by years of battle, and how they help each other overcome them. There is also a subplot about Edenia's recovery. COMPLETE.

"Dawning of the Prince" - This story spans the first year of Liu Kang and Kitana's marriage. It mainly focuses on Liu kang's induction into Edenian Royal Society and the stark contrast of his new life from his old one, as well as him finally confronting some of his inner demons once and for all.. Jade also has a large focus in this story, as she finds something unexpected while taking on an important assignment from Queen Sindel. IN PROGRESS.

TALES OF LIUTANA SERIES - These stories are all just random collections of one-shots and two-shots involving my favorite couple, Liu Kang and Kitana. I'm not sure how far I plan to take this series, but i figure I'll just keep going as more ideas hit me.

Other Stories

"Anecdotes of Warriors" - Series of drabbles about any characters I feel inspired to write about in any sorts of situations. I wrote the first story in an attempt to cheer myself up, and it's kinda taken on a life of it's own. We'll see where it goes...HIATUS

"Kiss Goodbye" - This oneshot comes from my very first fanfic, MK Mythologies: The Edenian Princess. It's just a brief little piece of fluff told in Kitana's viewpoint of her first kiss with Liu Kang. I Started writing this story way back when I was fourteen, but it never came to be because as I got older my writing improved, and I ended up re-writing this story over and over until I got absolutely sick of it. Then too, I happened upon XiahouDun84's story "Kitana - Redemption" which pretty much told my same story, so I called the project off. This little bit got saved however, so I posted it. COMPLETE

"Eyes" - My first fic detailing how Liu Kang and Kitana met during the Outworld tournament in the FIRST timeline. HIATUS

Future Ideas

Liu Kang/Bo Rai Cho, student/master story - I always had a few ideas about this relationship. Think what you will of Ol' Bo, but I think there's hidden potential in his character, as well as his relationship with Liu Kang. I want to write some kind of story where our young Champ is sent to train with him, and watch Bo Rai Cho become something of a surrogate father. IDK, we'll see...

Kitana/Mileena story - My favorite rivalry in the series. I am going to touch on them at some point. Maybe have them reach some type of resolution...

ABOUT REQUESTS

I currently am not accepting any story requests.

The reason why I'm not taking any requests right now is mostly because I have no time for it. Between my own life and endeavors I barely have time for my own fics these days, so I definitely don't have time to spare for anyone else's.

Furthermore, if I were to write a request story, I have a few ground rules;

If you want me to do Yaoi or Yuri, I will only IMPLY it.

If you want me to do a fan couple or their children, IT BETTER MAKE SENSE. Have some serious backstory for me to go on. if you want me to put together, say Ermac and Li Mei, plan to make it believable. I am HUGE on believability.

I'm not to huge on AU fics, but if you give me a good enough idea to run with, I'd do it.
