Bio My Name: Lisa Age: 14 (As of 2012) I live in: U.S.A My stories: Life's Restrictions Updated: An update will be coming soon, hopefully. I do not know the exact date yet. Summery/Peek: LR. Chapter 5: The next morning, Dianna was woken by the sound of knocking on her front door. Groggily, she stood and stumbled out of her room and to the door. She peeked out the eye hole to see who it was. The tall form of Tyler greeted her. She watched as he impatiently bent forward and tried to look inside through the eye-hole. Not seeing anything, he straightened back up and went to knock on the door. As soon as his knuckles touched it, the door swung open. "What?" Dianna asked, rubbing her eyes. Tyler looked startled for a second but he quickly composed himself. "Can I come in?" he asked, peering around Dianna and into the living room behind her. Dianna turned to see what he was looking at but didn't see anything special. Random things: Life is like a roller coaster. Yes, I know you've probably heard this before but have you thought of it like this: Every time you go down a hill, your life get's worse. Every time you go up a hill, you life gets better. But, here's the catch; You don't need to push yourself when you're going down hill. You can let gravity do the work and hope you'll stop soon. But, going up hill, you find yourself needing to push yourself along. Every time you stop pushing, you start to slide down wards again. At the top of that hill, you may find a decline or a straight away. On the straight away, you have to push yourself still. Only this time you can rest without the fear of falling backwards. On a decline, you can rest but just remember how much you had to fight to get up the last hill. :) Who would believe it? 57 years ago (from 2012): gas was under 25 cents, a hair cut cost less than 30 cents, cars were under $1,000.00 and were made in the U.S, a weeks worth of grocery cost under $10.00, cigarettes cost under 20 cents, you could mail a letter for under 7 cents, minimum wage was under a dollar, movies rarely had the words "damn" or "hell" in them, baseball players were signing contracts for $50,000, there was no electric appliances, women hardly ever worked, the Government didn't take half of people's taxes, drive-ins were few, it cost less than $2.00s to stay in a hotel for a night, and it cost $15.00 to stay at the hospital! WOW, that was a mouth full! Try this! #1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10) #2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) #3. Add 5 #4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator #5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1762 #6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number. The first number is the number you chose and the second is your age! *(This works as of 2012. For each year past 2012 add 1 to #5. Ex. if it was 2019, the numbers would change from 1762 and 1761 to 1769 and 1768 respectfully.) Any suggestions for my story or any characters you would like to be added into my story are welcome... :) For characters just give their name and description... |
