I've written a story that takes place in the universe of The Dark Knight Rises. I'm fascinated by Bane, and wanted to explore his character in greater depth and humanize him a bit. I hope that people like my story. I promise to update often and I would love some reviews to give me feedback that would help guide the direction of updates.

Some other fandoms in which I read and have written are Les Miserables, LOST, and A Song of Ice and Fire. For my next trick, I hope to write a story for The Amazing Spider-Man. I haven't posted my stories for the above fandoms on this username; they were on a different username that I took down a while back. If you have any interest in reading them, let me know by sending me a message and I may post them. I write for Javert, Jacob (LOST), and Jorah. I clearly like my J-men. Bane is the stand-out.

I'm a 24-year-old married woman in the United States. I've been happily married to the love of my life for almost three years. We are rabid Notre Dame fans because, well, that's where we went to school, met, fell in love, and got married. :-) My heritage is Irish, Scottish, and Choctaw (American Indian).

My moniker is not just because I like Selina Kyle, though I do. It's also because of my two adorable pet cats, whom I love dearly.

I have three tattoos. They all mean something very special to me. One, on my right hip, is Jean Valjean's prisoner number (24601) in black. It, to me, says that there are some things that will haunt us our whole lives and with which we must ultimately make peace. On my left hip, I have the Numbers from LOST (4-8-15-16-23-42). To me, they indicate there are some things we'll never know or understand, and that that's fine. Finally, I have a purple thistle inside of a green shamrock on my lower right back. The two plants share a stem. To me, this tattoo means that my heritages have united to create one Celtic person in me.

Right now, my fics are all in English. However, I plan on translating Painkiller and making it available in Spanish, French, and Irish. I could also translate into Scottish Gaelic, though I thoroughly doubt there's a market for that. In my "real life," I'm currently working on a new full-length translation of Les Miserables from the original French into modern Irish.

I would very much appreciate the services of a beta reader for Painkiller. I hate making grammatical/punctuation/spelling errors and would like someone to catch those, as well as possible continuity errors. If you're interested, please send me a message. I am MORE than happy to beta in return.

"My mother is the Republic!" - Victor Hugo (Enjolras, Les Miserables)

"And was Jerusalem builded here, among these Dark Satanic Mills?" - William Blake

"Pain can be harnessed. Desire can not." - Catwoman1987 (Bane, Painkiller) :-D
