Hey all! I'm a gal from the U.S. who started writing fanfiction about five years ago, when she was twelve. You do the math. Since then, I've wanted to pursue a career as a fantasy writer. My biggest goal is to have one of my stories made into a movie or even an anime. Yeah, I know: File that under never, but hey, I can dream, can't I? I'm obsessed with Vision of Escaflowne, all other anime in general (yes I can tolerate Pokemon), bishounen, shounen ai, shoujo ai, yaoi and yuri. I also love video games, which you can probably tell from the fact that most of my fanfiction is about some RPG or another. My favorite books include Garth Nix's Sabriel, which got me interested in dark heroes (and heroines), the Harry Potter books (of course), assorted dragon books, including a wonderful little "ficlet" called The Bully and the Beast inside of a book called Dragon Tales (no, not like the show :P ) I'm mostly interested in the romance and adventure genres. I've also become interested in yaoi lemons, of course (that seems to be the fad of all fangirls ) but I like to write fiction of all genres, I guess. Except for angst. A good story with too much angst is like arsenic sprinkled into a wedding cake. Yes, I'm well aware that I'm paraphrasing Stephen King. _; Quote of the Month: "I get so apocalyptic when I'm drunk." The Arrival New News: If you've noticed that I no longer have any stories up here... yeah, I took Une's Mirror down today. It just seemed pointless to leave it up here where new readers would find it. I mean, there's no point in leaving up a story that you're never going to get around to updating, is there? However, once I get around to putting up my own site, my other stories (and Une's Mirror, hopefully) will once again be posted for anyone interested. Thanks again for all of your support. |
