Hallo there, ladies and gents! carmelarouk31 here :D

It has been three years since I last updated this profile and a lot has changed since then. For starters, I am now more of a beta-reader than a writer here on FanFiction. I am now in college and unfortunately, I never find the time to write my own stories anymore. Feel free to send me a request anytime so check out my beta profile to read about my preferences.

For those who were wondering, Discovery is still on hiatus. I don't know when I will continue writing it and I also do not know whether I will give the story up for adoption.

Since I am on term break until mid-May, I'm going to be active here. Mostly I'll just be catching-up on stories I followed and checking new ones.

If there's one thing that I love, it's HARRY POTTER \m/ (Sirius should have lived) Since I was a tot, I was going around waving a barbecue stick and hiding under curtains pretending it's an invisibility cloak. Oh, and that I've also attempted to re-create the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans for myself. It didn't go well.

RANDOM FRIEND: But Carmela, you're a Twihard!! How can you be a Potterhead?!?!

Well, ladies and gents, behold.

Yes, I am a Potterhead and a Twilight-diehard rolled into one awesome, vivacious, almost-rocker chic. Haters gonna hate.

Okay, I know some of you may hate me for loving twilight, that's okay, because we're all entitled to like something even though others don't think the same.

But enough of that.

According to my friends, I'm kind, friendly, thoughtful, and all the other sappy things you can think of your friends. But I view myself as a crazy, fun-loving, happy, and friendly girl who loves listening to music, surf the net, and just hang around the house with family and friends.

Despite that, I'm still a good-natured person. I'm also very passionate in terms of emotions. You may call it being moody, but I think not. For me, moody is someone who experiences mood swings. Passionate, is someone who really shows or releases whatever they are feeling. So when I'm happy (which I always am) you can bet that we'll have a really good time together. But when I'm steaming angry, beware. You have been warned.

Nah, only joking. :)

I also like to study and read books. I'm not super smart, but at least I'm doing well in school. My favourite is English, not so much for Math. Especially Algebra. Ugh. English has always been my best subject, IF you compare my grades to the others. I enjoy writing (and reading!) and I have always wanted to start a fanfic here. Though sometimes, I prefer mapping out whatever happens in stories that I make in my head rather than writing them.

In terms of music, Linkin Park is the best for me. Anyone who likes them is already on my good side. And if you don't, well, we can work that out :D Paramore comes next, then The Script. You can never go wrong with Maroon 5, and I occasionally play 50's - 90's music from time to time. I prefer sad or emo songs. Don't think I'm an Emo girl. I like those kind of songs because they're very relaxing.

And if you're still asking why I can listen to them, it's because that when I listen to songs, I pay more attention to the music (tone, melody) itself. Don't get me wrong, I also listen to the lyrics/message, but not always. This can be proven in the case of me *almost* liking Young, Wild, and Free. The music's good, though I won't say that I can relate to the lyrics.

For books, I'm very partial to those in the YA (young adult) category. Mortal Instruments? YES. One of my fave YA books:) And who knows, maybe I'll like the first movie!! Can't wait for it to come : And also, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE The Infernal Devices to the highest degree (Jem, please be mine)!! If I'm being honest, I prefer TID over TMI.

I've also picked up Wuthering Heights, and it's a story that I love-hate. It's like I want to push most of the characters off a cliff and rush downward to save them. It's annoying, and yet I like the story :) I've also read some books from Mitch Albom: Tuesdays With Morrie and The Five People You Meet In Heaven - although I'm not yet finished with the latter.

Hey guys, this is just a brief message. My account has been recently hacked and it's a miracle that I've been able to open my account again. So, if my hacker has recently posted anything offending or malicious, I would just like to say sorry for him, lucky bastard. And if you read something off of my profile that was also offending or malicious, I would assure you that it's not my doing. And one last thing, that hacker has deleted my only story: "Discovery." AND THAT was the biggest blow.
