I live in the Netherlands (so for any language mistakes: sorry, I'll do my best) and I've studied for tailor and costume designer. Now I'm at an art academy, studying for teacher of art and design.

I live in a squat house with some friends, and am always working feverishly on some or other new design or artwork. I am always driven with a burning desire to create beautiful new things. Once absorbed in my work, nothing else exists. Sometimes I forget to eat or sleep for days.

I am 27 years old and I've been a Phantom addict/phan for more as 16 years, since I was about 10. I've always had a strange fascination with masks, mirrors, dual personalities, psychopatic murderers, lonely misunderstood outcasts and beautiful music.

I prefer the books by Gaston Leroux and Susan Kay. I get sick of all those giggling, screaming phan-girls going 'ooooh, Gerrie is SO hot' and thinking Phantom is sex on legs. Anyone doing that, doesn't understand what Phantom is all about. Without wanting to sound pretentious I think I can safely say that after 16 years, I do.

I don't have much time to write my own phan-fiction, so I mostly just read and enjoy. But I write my own poems. For anyone who understands Dutch: see

Now I know I haven't updated my phics for more as a year, and I feel heavenly guilty! Graduating fashion school, working for a year in a galerie, starting at the art academy and moving to another house 3x in 3 years all took it's toll. I'll try to re-start them in the near future, I hope.
