An alternate version of A&O in which Humphrey did not wait to say goodbye to Kate. Instead heading straight for the train the night before the wedding instead of that day, feeling saddened, and betrayed, wanting to leave temporarily to get over Kate. Only my second attempt at a story, I hope it’s enjoyed.
