Please forgive me, I am such a newbie, I haven't worked out yet how to load an avatar yet (I will work on it).

I live in Brisbane Australia and have decided that Fanfiction, the reading and writing of, is something I want to get into this year.

I've been a geek fan of one stripe or another since I was eleven - books by Asimov, Clarke, Norton, TV shows like Dr Who, Star Trek (the orginal on re-runs) the Professionals, UFO, on through years, Star Wars, Star Trek (all it's incarnations), Buffy, Angel - huge fan - was an oficial Club member of Farscape (it was made in Australia you know). Up to the current time - Dr Who, Torchwood and most recently Supernatural.

Supernatural was one of those shows that I never managed to catch more than a couple of episodes of while it was on TV, so in the lead up to Christmas, I rented all five seasons and watched them over a period of four weeks. INTENSE! And through watching the show, some of my favourite eps are those hinting at fandom, fanfiction, even wincest (now there is an interesting word).

And now I have discovered FanFiction.Net - what a wonderful world to play in!

I've always had stories kicking around in my head and at last I have somewhere to share them. None are quite at the stage to be downloaded yet but I'm putting the ideas down here, to give me the kick I need to set them loose:

Buffy & Angel - One Last Demon

Pirates of the Carribean - An alternate ending to movie 3

Torchwood - Dinner for 5

Star Trek (after the recent Movie) - A walk in the park

Star Trek - A prequel to the movie describing the evolution of the relationship of Spock and Uhura
