Ed had been gone for months. Roy supposes that he should have been grateful for that. Grateful in a sick, twisted sort of way. Because what would have happened if he hadn't found out, if he hadn't been forced to look so deeply into his subordinate's eyes, if he hadn't been left to wonder and debate for days? Long story short, if Ed hadn't been away, Roy would have had no damn clue.

The Illumination makes the wounds people bear glow up and be visible to everyone. It is completely harmless to human health aside from making one acknowledge it. It started on the third of October 1910 and everyone remembers it very well. Some love it, some hate it, but everyone can admit that it changed their lives in more than one way. How far will people go to douse the light?

Barring learning of her parents death, it was the worst night Winry had experienced in her young life. Immediately post the Elric's failed transmutation, Winry uses her beginning skills to help treat and soothe both the brothers' trauma, while barely holding on herself. It's not even been half of a year yet, and already, terror has arrived on Mustang's desk, in the form of an old walkie-talkie, and a note, saying, "You have 24 hours." There's a new threat in the East, and apparently, he wants to play a game. With all of them.

Going undercover in a town is hard; being undercover in a school is even harder. How does a teen that grew up to fast deal with a family environment and school without blowing his cover?

Ed still has bad dreams.

Even the Fullmetal Alchemist falls sick sometimes. Even if he doesn't like to admit it. But, like all people, he has to deal with the people who care about him. Rated T for language, minor Ed torture. Oneshot.
