Kathy here. Not that you care or read this or whatever, but it's after midnight and i'm EXTREMELY bored. I mean EXTREMELY; so bored that I want to stick a fork in my eye, at least it would be doing something. Okay, to start out, I would like to announce that I absolutely LOVE the Harry Potter series! They have LITERALLY changed my life (where the hell would i be if the GREAT GODDESS Ms. JK Rowling didn't create the beautiful books). After reading the first four Harry Potter books,I have forever been entranced by it's magic. Not only until a 2 summers ago that I stumbled onto the fabulous world of FanFiction. The first fanfiction that I had discovered for myself were The Hermione/Harry Sagas, writting beautifully and talentedly by Mena Baines. Later that summer, I tried a stab at a fic, which turned out to be the Everyone Goes Crazy On the Set.... Not until I got my friend, Mary, into the books (by forcing her to read them) that I realized that I wanted to write more fics. I haven't gotten very far since then. But i do actually believe that my writting has evolved greatly since my first ever rough draft (for especially a more angst toned story). Without JK Rowling writing her books, I wouldn't have ever gotten interested in writing -- ever! i hated it so much before i started to do fanfics. And ever since I started to write more, I realized that i wanted to convey my stories on screen. That's when I became more interested in film and camera's, wanting nothing more then to be some type of employee for the movies. And without her books, I don't think that i would've ever found out that i was really interesting in films. For this, I'm debtedly grateful for. *Catsrule Dogsdrool is a 5 hundred million times a better authorthen I am! If you don't believe me, then go to her page!! Filled with GREAT, BEAUTIFUL stories! now go!!Believe me! And she actually has finished her stories! (well, some! I still want to read your others unfinished stories, Mary!!!!!!!!!) |
