Hi, my name is Lidia (with an "i" instead of a "y"), and I'm from Danlí, Honduras... Which is one of the smallest towns you could imagine (we don't even have a movie theater or a library).

I love writing, it is my passion, and I hope someday I can do it as a professional. I want to write screenplays, for independent films, short films... that kind of thing. Obviously, English is not my first language, it is Spanish, so I'm not really very good at writing in English. But, sometimes the story just has got to be in English, so I do my best. Just try and consider that I've never studied English, all I know I've learnt from watching TV series in English and trying to understand them, eventually I could and so I started reading in English, but I'm not very good at it.

I love books, and I love music, I love painting, and pretty much anything that can communicate a good story. I believe that everybody is an artist; because art, for me, is the most beautiful way of expression, and what else is there to express other than feelings?... Everybody has feelings, emotions; if we express those emotions in any way, that for me is art... Art to those who understand it's true message, it's real meaning. Therefore, everyone is an artist.

The truth is, I'm really here to read and comment. I do write, a lot, but mostly things of my own. I mean, I have tried writing fan fiction a couple of times, but it just doesn't come out right. I think it's because the characters are not mine. Maybe someday I'll publish something here.
