A little about my original short story series: Please read before reading the Series

I added a modern edge to the general idea of the game, along with a different background regarding "soulmates". It's nothing like werewolves or vampires. This idea is that each wizard was designed to truly match up perfectly with one other wizard. Here's the rest of the Series synopsis:

Relationships are different in the Spiral than on Earth. They develop faster. Especially because, there is a type of genetic design that ties one wizard to a specific other. Usually, it’s normal for each wizard to find the person they are designed to be with by the time they hit Exalted. After that, it’s nearly impossible to find that person. Sure, they can marry and date other people, but they will never have the full connection a destined couple may have. The Falling Series follows five different main characters and each story intertwines into a huge overall plot. There is a love triangle, family trees, twisted friendships and the journey to defeating the Shadow Queen.
