Sharing esoteric knowledge...

Shaman Tips is a new community space for individuals seeking to gain more understanding in life or share sacred knowledge with others using ancient tools, practices and traditions from ancient wisdom.
What do we ultimately seek for in life? Money? Fame? Power? Understanding? or are all these fundamentally instrumental to a bigger and more sacred goal which is ultimately to be happy? A shaman I worked with in an ancient ceremony once told me the following: âœThere are only two kinds of people in life. Two and no more. There are those searching for power and then there are those searching for understanding. You are either one or the other, but you cannot chose to be both.â
As much as I agree with that wise and profound statement, wether it be power or understanding, fame or material wealth, do not define who we are but rather become a line of exploration of where we want to get to and that is happiness: a single destination with many possible avenues. In my case and my intention in creating this blog is to practice something that makes me happy instead of doing something I am unhappy with in order to reach happiness. Does that make sense? ðŸ‚
Shaman.tips is a website intended for users to come and read posts of a vast array of practices and traditions practiced by diverse cultures from different parts of the world and other times to guide our mind, heart, spirit and body to be healthy, filled with love, enlightened by understanding and ultimately to be happy.
Traditionally, shamans are known to be medicine men, tribal elders or even mislabeled as wizards or magicians.
Dictionary.com defines shaman as follows:
noun
1. (especially among certain tribal peoples) a person who acts as intermediary between the natural and supernatural worlds, using magic to cure illness, foretell the future, control spiritual forces, etc.
Although that definition is an accurate one, I prefer the definition of what a Shaman is given to me by a Shaman from the Amazon rainforest himself -a shaman is simply one âœwho knowsâ- Don Diego.
That statement itself is of great profoundness because it is fertile with infinite possibilities. That means that whatever we may learn or know and use it for the betterment of ourselves and others make us a âœshamanâ in our own way. How amazing is that? An opportunity to turn our life into something useful and meaningful by the simple act of sharing knowledge with good intentions at heart!
I intend to post articles of numerous subjects pertaining these reals, from Tarot, Astrology, Numerology to interesting information, facts and experiences dealing with the esoteric side of life. Whatever knowledge youâd like to publish yourself regarding any of these topics will be welcome! Shaman.tips is meant to be a wealth of knowledge for everyone.
Thank you!
