I grew up within the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. In class he turned often called the 'good drawer' which partly compensated for at all times being the shortest child in each class. He graduated from the College of WA in 1995 with joint honours in High quality Arts and English Literature, and presently works full time as a contract artist and author in Melbourne.
