Hello, my name is Gian Carlo, and I am a poor college student with over 5 years of experience in how to buy used books, finding book bargains, and scoring cheap used text books. With the money I saved, I can now buy my own groceries instead of eating $0.99 cheeseburgers every day (Thanks Micky D's).

With the money i've saved on text books I was able to buy a gym membership, and now I won't have health problems by the time i'm 40 (WOOHOO!)

Looking to buy cheap Christmas/Birthday gifts, looking to read more, or just like collecting books? Have no fear, I will tell you where to find book bargains to score books for less than $1!

There are two main places to buy used books CHEAP!

The first is at Goodwill/Salvation Army or any other "charity" store. They accept all book donations, and usually the surplus of books is too much to store, so they simply want to get rid of them! Most books are averagely $1, and they range from nonfiction to fiction, novels, paperbacks, and hard cover books! Plus you are supporting some great charities!

The second place to find book bargains is at local garage sales. Try to find populated neighborhoods, and drive suburbs looking for "Garage Sale" signs. Typically, Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8:00 is when you get the best deals. Most books again are usually between $1-$5. But remember: The early bird gets the worm.

It's that easy!
