My name is Jana (or Dark, if you've known me for long enough). You may call me either!

I must say I'm not much of a writer. I have a lot of really interesting ideas and such, but I'm not very good at actually getting them down and developing them fully and filling all the holes. I'm also quite lazy, so that may be another thing. English has never been my forte, but I'm not that bad at it. I much prefer medicine, science, math, and history.

I'm mostly on fanfiction to skim around at gawk at how talented people are. I've been reading fanfictions for a while now, so I guess I have a pretty broad sense of what I'll read. I'm mostly into anime fanfictions (currently it's Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist, but I'm also re watching Bleach so I'll start that again soon too)

A random list of favorites!

Music: Music is absolutely one of the things that make up my life. I've been a musician since I was fairly young, so I take it very seriously. I'm willing to listen to anything, and if I like it, it'll end up on my iPod. I don't try to conform to one style exactly. I've gotta say my favorite has to be Musicals or Asian music.

Movies: Harry Potter, definitely. Also love Avatar, Chicago, 21, Prince of Persia, Pink Panther, Pirates of the Carribean, All three Death Note and Bleach movies, Iron Man, Mean Girls, Sherlock Holmes, Phantom of the Opera, Moulin Rouge, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Social Network, I Am Number Four, Chronicles of Narnia, Kung Fu Panda 2

Anime/Manga: Death Note, Bleach, Code Geass, Ouran High School Host Club, Fulllmetal Alchemist (and Brotherhood), and Avatar the Last Airbender. My anime/manga career has remained pretty stagnant. It started huge with ATLA, and kind of ended there, and restarted when I started watching Bleach. Now that I'm on the latest episodes of all my shows, my anime craze has slowed. Still lovin it, but lookin for a new show. I don't want to ever completely lose anime like I did with other things, but I can feel it leaving. If you have a anime/manga suggestions, please do suggest! However, I have made a solemn vow NEVER to watch Naruto. It's this whole big pride thing between my cousin and I.

Hobbies: HUGE with Tae Kwon Do and Martial Arts, Violin, Piano, Shopping, Cooking, Listening and sometimes Composing Music (I fail at composing D:), Singing, Studying (yes really!), Debate, Talking on the Phone, Chilling with my Friends, Having epic life changing talks/heart-to-hearts/debates, Writing Pickup Lines, Hitting on my poor unsuspecting teachers, SLEEP!, and Hanging out with little brother.

I have a lot of favorite shippings. With a lot of shows, I'm ok with anything (yaoi, yuri, lemons) just not incest really. I'm not as hardcore about shippings as I used to be, but there are some that are just wrong on too many levels.

My Fan Fics: I had one Twilight one. I won't say I 'regret' it, it's just that Twilight is no longer my interest. That was like, the old, sixth/seventh grade me. But now I'm a high schooler so you can expect much better quality stuff from me. If I ever write something. I really don't have time to write anymore (mostly during the school year), but since it's summer now, I'm thinking of cracking out atleast one one-shot. It would probably be Death Note, and it's more a psychological analysis, some character perspective on some random scene. Buuuuut, since I am such a history nerd, I have this insane idea to write a historical fiction on the Opium Wars. It's slowly progressing, and I'm not sure how it'll end up, but maybe if I ever finish it, I'll post it somewhere.
