I've just uploaded the first seven chapters of "The Guardian In The Rye". Hope you like it.
I'll try to upload a new story called "The Bitter Pill" soon. I just have to decide which TV show I want to base it on. It shows the kind of thoughts drug-influenced teenagers are thinking. I'll tell you more soon. It's a short one, but I'm deciding to add more to it, or make a sequel out of it. But I'm still pretty unsure of the storyline so wait for it.
01.08.06 Hey peeps! --fkers--
Fuck! Ok, newbie here. Well, the reason I signed up for this joint was because a) I'm bored, and b) With all these stories I wrote laying around, I thought it was about time to share my compositions with the world. I've been writing a lot for the past few months and I don't know what to do with them. I also thought I'd try to get some feedback from a few people. Before I publish any of my stories, I have to make a few grammar/punctuation corrections and edit out a few things. You guys can wait, can't you?
So, here's a few things about me:
Name: You can all refer to me as 'Gat' or 'Skeltie'-- either one of those will do. If you want a real name, you could ask for it if you're dependable enough for me.
Age: 14
Sex: F
Well, my hobbies are listening to 70's and 80's rock music, reading, bugging people and art. I'm a loner, not a lot of friends, and I prefer to keep it that way. For my post-school life, I'm thinking of becoming an educator, English most especially, so writing little fan fictions is practice for me! I believe teaching is the most valuable job on earth and I'm passionate about getting today's youth back on track with the real world. I write stories based on true events happening in my life and I love to be controversial about it. I'm inspired by nature, books, movies, and music. In case I have nothing in mind, I sometimes make parodies of movies and books using characters from other shows that sometimes make a mockery of it. I have unbelievable guilty pleasures of cheesy sitcoms/teen dramas, kiddie cartoons, and cheesy old music.
A little update on my stories:
Right now, I'm working on something big. It's called "The Guardian In The Rye". No, it's now a parody of the amazing book, "The Catcher In The Rye" (that would be very insulting on my part), but a story based on my late uncle who was a rabid fan of the book when he was in his teens. I used the "Rugrats" characters to represent the characters of the story with 17-year old Tommy Pickles posing as the protagonist. (Shut up! I know what you're all thinking. :( I used to love the Rugrats when I was little, you got a problem with that?) It's quite long but I'm putting my heart into it since I love my uncle very much.
